Launched in November 2016, our Winter Campaign for CT designed to give an extra boost throughout the Winter season has proved a huge success.
In just five months, the campaign to showcase the Lake District, Cumbria as an all-year-round destination had a staggering reach of over 25 million, a fantastic success for Cumbria Tourism's first Winter Campaign undertaken without public funding.
It is great also to see so many of CT's members using #theplacetobe and making the most of #theplacetobe campaign imagery within their own eNewsletters and on social media.
Following this success, CT will look to embark on a new campaign for 2017.
Today is the launch of a brand new website for our home town of Kendal. After the initial branding exercise and the design of the Kendal leaflets we were asked to look at the design & build of the town's website. This has been an incredibly rewarding process with a huge amount of content and we're very pleased with the results. visit-kendal.co.uk
We direct photoshoots, videos & films and regularly work with spirited adventurers. I had the pleasure of working with these guys last year, who knows who it will be in 2017.
Levison Wood, Sir David Attenborough & Bear Grylls.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our clients a very Merry Christmas and say a huge thank you for all the amazing projects we've had the pleasure of working on in 2016. Here's to a successful and prosperous New Year.
One of our passions other than design is mountain biking. Lakesmtb is an instagram account we set up that now has over 17k followers. One idea we had was to put on a festival in the future so we had a little fun creating some festival treats.
We're thrilled to have won the rebranding work for the newly refurbished Low Wood Bay Hotel. The Directors at English Lakes Hotels approached us last month to pitch them some ideas for the main hotel brand and numerous sub brands within the hotel. We cannot reveal these just yet as they are part of a multi-million pound vision to transform the flagship Low Wood Bay Hotel into 'the Lake District's first luxury destination resort'.
Our first presentation clearly impressed the Directors and we are now working on the finer details. Watch this space.
After winning the pitch for The Theatre By The Lake, we were challenged with creating images for each of next year's performances. We worked closely with the Artistic Director & marketing team to pick key elements and defining moments from the plays to visualise the posters. We then commissioned Manchester based photographer Moy Williams to work closely with our Art Director Andy Smith to create the stunning imagery. Everything was shot in the Lakes in just 2 days. We couldn't have done it without an amazing team of period dressers, make-up artists, actors and theatre employees. The double exposure images were beautifully created by our Creative Director Matthew Richardson.
Craghoppers asked us to look at their Christmas windows. We decided it was time to show Mrs Claus to the world as they are both 'The Ultimate World Travellers'. We brought two perfect models to the Lakes and even hired a local reindeer. We worked closely with Susan from Susan Child Photography to create a beautiful festive shot.
After branding the new Kendal based bike shop 'Lakes Cycles', we were asked to look at the signage. This 3m x 3m beaut was fitted yesterday. You certainly won't miss it.
